| Applications:
Because they can be shaped to fit a variety
of furnaces and ovens, ceramic fiber heating modules are used for everything
from heat treating
and billet heating, to pipe and duct heating and fluidized beds.
Furnace
Type:
Many styles of smaller furnaces, ovens, and kilns, and large
furnaces when modules are used in multiples. Can be used with air or
process
atmospheres.
Material Options:
Nickel/chrome and Kanthal A-1, AF,
and APM alloy elements partially or fully embedded in a non-electrically
conductive castable ceramic.
Available in flat, cylindrical or semi-cylindrical configurations.
Temperature
Range:
Up to 2000° F (1100° C).
Power Rating:
As required, depending upon element alloy
and module size and configuration. |
