Rod Overbend Elements
One of our most popular products, especially for die casting machines, these elements are used extensively in applications such as bell annealing furnaces, holding furnaces and many low and high temperature ovens. These heating elements can be made in a wide range of sizes and alloys (e.g. APM wire). We can provide a direct replacement or analyze your design and usage to provide a more effective solution.
Ribbon Heating Elements
We manufacture iron/chrome/aluminum (FeCrAl) and nickel/chrome (NiCr) strip heating elements to fit any oven, furnace or autoclave. CNC production allows us to make your heating elements quickly and accurately. Custom Electric heaters are shipped ready to install and can be provided complete with full installation hardware.
Plug/Rack Elements
Many draw and temper furnaces use this type of heating element. Brick and fiber-lined furnaces will operate like new with our replacement plugs. We are experts at repairing plug/rack elements. We can fabricate or rebuild plug heating elements from 20 kW to 600 kW.
Rod Heating Elements
Using proprietary automated technology, Custom Electric can bend rod stock up to ¾ in. into any configuration. Every element, from 20 to 2000, is identical to the master. These elements are perfect for high temperature brick and light wall furnaces.
Edge-Wound Ribbon Heating Elements
Custom Electric manufactures industry standard 2¾“ and 4¾” diameter elements. These heating elements find use in a wide range of applications such as gas generators and roller hearth furnaces |
