Plug/Rack units are the most commonly repaired electric heating elements. We generally can repair or replace wire insulators and insulation for about half the cost of a new unit. This translates to significant savings when elements are rebuilt three or four times before being replaced.
In many instances, it also is possible to repair bayonet and rod overbend elements.
